The CB-004 cable is for Internal and External Narrow SCSI connection. It allows you to connect the SCSI host adapter with two internal type Narrow SCSI peripheral and one external connector. If you have more than two Narrow peripherals, you will need to connect the round cable for external box with enough connectors to accommodate all of your Narrow peripherals.
The following steps will guide you to connect your internal Narrow peripheral:
Step 1
Unpack and Locate the 50-pin Flat Ribbon Internal Cable in the package.
Step 2
Plug J1 connector (the long of the cable) to the Narrow connector on the SCSI Card.
Note:
1. J2~J3 with pull Tab paper and Only J1 with Strain Relief.
2. With the help of pull tab paper not only make it easier to pull out the cable from device but also protect the cable for longer life cycle.
Step 3
Plug the remaining connectors(J2~J3) to your internal Narrow SCSI peripherals. And plug the J4 connector to external connection.
Application :
This CB-004 is a 50-pin standard Internal Ribbon Flat Cable . This cable is for use with any of Narrow Host Adapter with an 50-pin Narrow connection. This 96 cm, four-connector ( one for the host adapter, two internal peripherals and one external connection for additional devices ). The external connector is connecting an external box with round cable . It provides an easy solution for connecting both Internal SCSI peripheral and External SCSI peripheral ).
