The CB-002 cable is for Internal Narrow SCSI connection. It allows you to connect the SCSI host adapter with four internal type Narrow SCSI peripheral. If you have more than four Narrow peripherals, you will need to change another Internal Flat Ribbon cable with enough connectors to accommodate all of your Narrow peripherals.
The following steps will guide you to connect your internal Narrow peripheral:
Step 1
Unpack and locate the 50-pin Internal Flat Ribbon Cable in the package.
Step 2
Plug J1 Female connector (the long of the cable) to the IDC 50-pin Internal Male Connector on the SCSI Card.
Note:
1. J2~J4 with pull tab paper and J1 , J5 are Strain Relief
2. With the help of pull tab paper not only make it easier to pull out the cable from device but also protect the cable for longer life cycle.
Step 3
Plug the remaining connectors to your internal Narrow SCSI peripherals.
Application
This CB-002 is a 50-pin standard Internal Flat Ribbon Cable. This cable is for use with any of Narrow SCSI Host Adapter with an IDC 50-pin Internal Male connector. This 73 cm, five connector (the host adapter? and four peripherals), it provides an easy solution for connecting internal SCSI peripheral.
