The CB-054 cable is for Ultra-2 LVD ( Low Voltage Differential ) or Single Ended connection. It allows you to connect the SCSI host adapter with two internal type Ultra-2 SCSI peripheral and one External connection for additional devices. If you have more than two Wide Ultra-2 peripherals, you will need to change another Wide Ultra-2 cable with enough connectors to accommodate all of your LVD peripherals.
The following steps will guide you to connect your internal Wide Ultra-2 peripheral:
Step 1
Unpack and Locate the 68-pin Internal TwistNFlat Cable in the package.
Step 2
Plug P1 Connector to the Internal Ultra Wide connector on the PCI motherboard
Note:
1. J4 is 68pin female connector for LVD Terminator or cable expansion.
2. With the help of pull tab paper not only make it easier to pull out the cable from device but also protect the cable for longer life cycle.
Step 3
Plug the remaining connectors (J2-J3) to your internal Ultra-2 SCSI peripherals. And plug J4 connector to external connection.

This CB-054 is a 68-position Ultra Wide TwistNFlat Cable . This cable is for use with any of LVD Host Adapter with an 68-pin Internal Ultra Wide Connection. Recommended for LVD SCSI higher frequency applications. It is cable especially for PCI motherboard SCSI on board. This 112.5 cm, four-connector (the host adapter, two peripheral and one external connector for additional devices), it provides an easy solution for connecting internal and external SCSI peripheral.
